Well the kidney stone is out and Pat is due to come home today. It was 5 mm in size, almost 1/4 inch, which I think is pretty impressive for a kidney stone. Pat got to stay over night in the hospital because his oxygen level was low. Not Pat's choose to spend the night - he says there is too much snoring going on to get any decent nights sleep. Which reminds of of my room mate at the Rockeyview last year. I had to order ear plugs from the nursing station - good thing my neighbor only stayed a couple of nights.
Chris and her friend Claire went on a shopping run to Homesence. I had to throw Chris a lifeline ( lent her my Mastercard)

ReplyDeleteWell, Pat certainly has all of the fun doesn't he! Congratulations to Pat and another stone passed. Pat sould keep this stone and put it on a ring for Jane! About a month ago I had to cover for somebody at work who was out of town working. He woke up in the middle of the night feeling pain, ran down to the lobby to get to his car to go to the hospital, and ended up collapsing in the lobby and throwing up everywhere. The ambulence came and got him, sure enough, it was a kidney stone. Makes you just want to keep hydrated with losts of water eh!
